چکیده

Chronic Kidney Disease is an end stage kidney disease which a progressive and irreversible impairment of function in the body's ability to fail maintain metabolism. This complication hypertension, diabetes mellitus, pyelonephritis acute renal failure. study aims describe implementation fluid restriction interventions address risk volume overload. The method used descriptive with case approach sample two patients. Methods data collection by interview, observation, physical examination documentation study. obtained were analyzed descriptively changes blood pressure, pulse frequency, respiratory rate, temperature, body weight edema. results showed no edema, pressure subject I from 158/78 mmHg 135/89 mmHg, II 141/80 128/78 temperature within normal limits both subjects there increase. recommends that nurses settings overload patients.

Chronic Kidney Disease, Fluid Overload and Diuretics: A Complicated Triangle

BACKGROUND Despite promising role of diuretics to manage fluid overload among chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients, their use is associated with adverse renal outcomes. Current study aimed to determine the extent of renal deterioration with diuretic therapy. METHODS A total 312 non-dialysis dependent CKD (NDD-CKD) patients were prospectively followed-up for one year. Fluid overload was asses...

Association between E/e´ ratio and fluid overload in patients with predialysis chronic kidney disease

BACKGROUND Chronic fluid overload is common in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and can with time lead to diastolic dysfunction and heart failure. We investigated whether markers of fluid status, such as NT-proBNP and bioimpedance spectroscopy (BIS), can predict echocardiographic findings of diastolic dysfunction in non-dialysis CKD5 patients. METHODS BIS, echocardiography, and meas...

Prevalence and Causes of Chronic Kidney Disease in Patients Referred to the Nephrology Clinic in Ilam

Introduction: The prevalence of chronic kidney disease (CKD) is increasing in developed and developing countries, such as Iran. This disorder affects all economic, social, and psychological aspects of the patient’s life. The first step in preventing the spread of a disease is to know the prevalence and causes of the disease. This study aimed to determine the prevalence of CKD and its causes in ...

Effects of fluid overload on heart rate variability in chronic kidney disease patients on hemodialysis

BACKGROUND While fluid overload (FO) and alterations in the autonomic nervous system (ANS) such as hypersympathetic activity, are known risk factors for cardiovascular morbidity and mortality in patients on chronic hemodialysis (HD), their relationship has not been thoroughly studied. METHODS In this observational study involving 69 patients on chronic HD, FO was assessed by whole body bioimp...

Title : Effects of fluid overload on heart rate variability in chronic kidney disease patients on hemodialysis

1st para: It is now considered good reporting practice to avoid labeling individuals with their disease or disability. E.g. “chronic haemodialysis patients”. A more appropriate description could be “patients on chronic HD”. Please consider changing throughout. We changed the description of the patients throughout the paper. The abstract lacks specificity and as currently reads, cannot stand on ...
